Nas Wins First Grammy 2021(Kings Disease)

The legendary Queens rapper Nasir Jones has won Best Rap Album—his first ever Grammy Award—at the 2021 Grammys. The rap veteran’s 13th studio album King’s Disease beat out works by D Smoke (Black Habits), Jay Electronica (A Written Testimony), Freddie Gibbs and the Alchemist (Alfredo), and Royce 5’9″ (The Allegory) for the honor. Nas has been nominated for a Grammy 14 times in total. He was first nominated in 1996 when “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That)” lost in the Best Rap Solo performance category. Last year, Nas performed at the Grammys with Lil Nas X. While we all know that Nas is a living legend in the hip hop community as well as others we are truly proud of the grammy’s for realizing who Mr. Nasir Jones is and how great his music is, was and will forever be. Nas has an incomparable style of rap and is like no other artist to ever exist or those to come, Nas has been a great story teller and street journalist for soo long and We once again celebrate and congratulate him in his 2021 victory on his long overdue Grammy.
